RE: Moisture In Carpeted Passenger Cockpit

The dash heater and A/C heat exchanger is on the firewall just out side there. If you have been running with the AC on, condensation can do that. A blocked drain hose will back it up. I know because mind did and soaked the floor under that area. If you have been sitting, it must be a leak.

RE: Splindide Washer/dryer - in my 2001 Dynasty

Check the vent hose by going outside and pulling the vent cover. With the dryer on to provide some air flow, clean out the hose and reinstall the cover.

RE: Inverter Questions??

I have a 1500 Watt MSW inverter and it runs the Convection MW, cofee pot, toaster, TV just fine, but not all at the same time. The only problem I ever had was with a clock radio that would not keep time on the MSW.

RE: support under the leveler feet

I use a double stack of 2 X 12s cut the same length as the width and cross the grain of the wood and nailed together.

RE: Splendide 2000 Washer/Dryer

Ours is 8 1/2 years old with about 5 years full time. Works great and we use it hard. It is vented. The secret is to remove the outside vent cover and clean out the lint that builds up in the tube. That will keep it drying well.

RE: No A/C In

Sounds like the transfer switch. Could be burned wire, burned connection terminal or contacts. Would need to check it, with a voltmeter, from the cord to TS input terminals then TS out terminals to the panel. Sometimes the connections get loose then hot from a lot of current and damage is done. You might see the problem.

RE: Satallite for new trailer

I just have my dish screwed to two 2X12s stacked together about 16 inches long. It won't blow over unless it is a strong wind. Just plop it on the ground, somewhat level, set the elevation and turn to tune. I find it doesn't need to be that level to work.

RE: Voltage Meter - looking for an accurate one

I have a Fluke 112 and check every new campsite after I plug in and only the converter and refer running. I get a good idea about how good or bad the power is there. If it is really good, I stop worring unless I need to start a AC unit and then I check again. If the initial indication is low, I keep the Fluke out and check frequently. I check the pole with an old Wiggy meter to veriy connections look right before I plug in.

RE: Looking for some Monaco advice

I have a 2000 DIP and all is well. You need to be aware of the tires, shocks, water heater, water pump, batteries etc. You could be in to replacing all of that now or soon. See if you can get some maintenance records on the engine, generator and tranny. Do a shake down run. Look for leaks. Run and load the generator with both ACs, refer and water heater. I would set it up in a campground for a weekend and test everything if allowed.

RE: Chassis battery charging proceedure.

With a 2004 MH and the batteries have been down, you are probably looking a new ones. Two group 31 batteries is what you probably need. Check that and just go to your local NAPA store and get two new Group 31.

RE: shower water pressure

I took the shower head restrictor out. Set the regulator at 38 psi and have great flow. Using a house regulator.

RE: Leveling on my Monaco

(Assuming yours is like my Diplomat) With slides already out, put Ignition switch to Aux position. Lower the air pressure some maybe tp 40-60 psi. ON/OFF switch on the jack panel to ON should light some lights on the panel. Drop the front jack until it touches the ground and then do the same with the rears. Lower the needed jacks to get the level you want but make sure all three are touching ground. Control panel switch OFF and Ignition switch OFF. I have front/back and side/side level indicators stuck to my refrigerator to give me a clue. If the DW is available, she watches the level gauges and I level. I do evaluate the situation and put boards under the severly lowest corners, so I don't have to stress the frame.

RE: 09 Phaeton vs. 09 Monaco Diplomat

Monaco Diplomat. Diplomat is also a higher grade MH. Also, Monaco may actually be in business in two years. I bought my DP(2000) in 1999 and looked back at my fuel records this morning. I paid $1.23 in 2000 for diesel. With fuel at just below $4.00 today, I would not buy a new DP now. This fuel pricing is going to shut down a lot of manufacturers. Monaco is biggest so stay with them.

RE: Direct TV Connection

The answer is probably YES. If you have a direct coax cable from your outside compartment to the inside cabinet, you can connect outside to the dish and inside to the input to your receiver. I use just RG59 and it is fine.

RE: Watts regulator...where to buy?

I would advise you to not buy that one. I had two of them and each would leak and build up to inlet pressure after a couple of months of use. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a medium duty 3/4 inch house regulator and put hose adapters on each end. The cost will be very little more than the one you show and will work much better.

RE: Power distribution inverter/charger problem

I suppose you checked the breaker that feeds the converter/inverter on your main panel? The GFI on the bathroom receptacle tripped will do about the same. I do not have an EMS so I'm not sure how it is wired or works.

RE: Norcold Refridgerator Prob while on LP

Open up the burner box and see if there is trash or rust down in the area. Clean it out.

RE: Monoco Diplmat vs Tiffin Phaeton

Both are good. The Diplomat is a model level above the Phaeton and could be a little more expensive. Everything considered, for my money, its Monaco Diplomat.

RE: water pump issues

I think there is nothing wrong. I just checked mine. Switch on light on. It just shows that the pump power is on and the pump is available. The pump cycles based on the pressure sensor. Relax.
